What is the Healthcare of Idaho scorecard?
The Healthcare of Idaho scorecard tracks free-market healthcare policy based on key votes cast by members of Congress and state legislators. Each lawmaker receives a score reflecting how often they voted in alignment with these positions.
How are lawmaker scores calculated?
Scores are calculated as the percentage of weighted key votes a lawmaker cast in alignment with Healthcare ID's position. Bills are selected and weighted by Healthcare of Idaho's research team. See the methodology page for full details on vote selection, weighting, and the participation threshold for receiving a finalized rating.
What does a high or low score mean?
